Sick and tired.

Sick and tired. Literally. Of people coughing, sneezing on the public transport without covering their mouths/noses. Especially on the trains. On Sunday, had this aunty sitting on my left, sneezing and sniffling, stinging on a miserly piece of tissue. On my right a young lady was coughing ‘openly’. Come on, even if no tissue, can at least use the hand to cover up?

I tried to be polite, by not standing up immediately. It was too late, i think i caught some virus. Adding a hot thai dinner that night, i fell sick the next day at work. I have not been this sick since a long time, weak knees, chills, giddiness, feverish. Saw a doctor in my neighbourhood, thankfully a 2 days MC, but i think it wasn’t enough rest though i only stepped out of the house once on those two days.

As the doctor said, the symptoms are showing that it’s only the beginning, paid up for the usual paracetamol pills and Difflam. I still felt sick. Lots of people are falling sick out there, even my dear girl. Hopefully when i get back to work, and staying away from coughing/sneezing people, i won’t catch the damn virus again…
